With the aim of implementing Free Prior Informed Consent (CLPI) in Brazil through ISEAL, FAPCEN was invited to participate in the field experience with indigenous peoples in Maranhão.
Among the forest certifications, RTRS was highlighted, along with the work that FAPCEN has been carrying out with the Guajajara indigenous communities and peoples in Maranhão.
Meeting professionals and friends who contribute to development, helping to build an action plan with ISEAL that can value the work of RTRS Certified Producers, has been a unique experience.
As the discussions continue, the technical consultant from Brazil will be present tomorrow to share the results of the studies carried out by us technicians.
We continue to seek added value for RTRS, hoping that we will be better recognized for what we are and what we do differently for the planet.
